The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that having everyone at one table would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might seem out of place, but the actions of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to head next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a secure base in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as prominent individuals in the influential clan could help the team access places they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Fans can anticipate learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
